Sugar-Free Mousse Recipe
During the holidays, we want to eat well and eat a lot!
I know firsthand that it is actually possible to eat healthy without sacrificing taste and enjoyment of some of your favorite holiday comfort foods.
One of my all time favorite desserts is chocolate mousse, in fact, the first time I had mousse was at a small French restaurant in my hometown of Plymouth, Michigan. I said to my family, who’s been keeping me from this wonderful delight!?!?
That being said, check out my plant-based, sugar-free mousse recipe below. What I love about this recipe is that I don’t feel guilty at all about eating double servings, not one bit. VEGAN SUGAR-FREE MOUSSE
4 small ripe avocados
¼ cup unsweetened non-dairy milk
1/2 cup raw cacao powder (or cocoa powder)
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp liquid stevia extract (use less or more depending on your desired sweetness)
Puree all ingredients in a food processor or Vitamix then ENJOY!
(makes about 4 servings)
