Homemade Cleaner
Check out my quick video for a homemade glass cleaner on YouTube  (see below for recipe and surface cleaner suggestions).
The grocery store is loaded with chemical laden cleaning products. Â When I go down the cleaning aisle, I want to hold my breath because the chemicals consume my nostrils and give me a headache so imagine how toxic they are for kids and pets!
Earth Friendly Ingredients
I’ve been super pleased with Ecos brand for many of my cleaning products (Ecos is also known as Earth Friendly ).
But, depending on where you live, natural products are often difficult to find and sometimes not very affordable. Â (Although, our health and the safety of our families is PRICELESS!)
Do It Yourself Window Spray
So, I wanted to make my own, because, well, why not?! Â It’s saving me money and it’s super easy.
I asked my sister for a natural glass cleaner recipe. I knew she would have one because it’s just as important to her to do as much as possible to keep her home as chemical-free as possible. She gave me the following recipe for a glass/window cleaner:
Recipe
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup rubbing alcohol
1 Tablespoon cornstarch
2 cups water
Then, shake well!
Additional Ingredients for a Surface Spray
To prepare the above solution as an anti-bacterial surface cleaner, I suggest adding a Tablespoon of Colloidal Silver OR a couple drops of your choice of essential oils:
Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca)
DoTerra’s On Guard
Lavender
Oregano
Thyme
Warning
Do not use essential oils near pets who are sensitive to them.
Stay well and be well always!
